I was only a day at the hotel, but it was perfect. The hotel exceeded my expectations, the room was perfect. The staff is very friendly and funny. When you return to Cosntanza, return to that hotel.

Having returned to the Cherica almost one year from my last stay, I was pleased to re-discover a very well kept historical building with state of the art facilities (new HD television in all rooms, new large LCD's) as well as improved WI FI internet connectivity throughout the hotel (complimentary). Pillow menu has been enlarged and quality blind curtains added to all rooms.
Probably the most important aspect about The Cherica is the cozy, comfortable and friendly feeling staff instill, almost home like. They do remember details of your preferences and go out of their way to fulfill them, from one's favorite flowers, room temperature, preferred housekeeping schedule or bathroom amenities.
The hotel even be better with a small SPA and a bistro / cafe, more for hotel guests, rather than the very busy CAFE CAFE on its groundfloor.

Hotel Cherica exceeded my expectations. I found them online prior to my visit in the spring of 2010, made reservations over the phone, and I chose them based on the online reviews and their location, in the heart of Constanta. I arrived late at night, after a long flight from overseas, as I was driving into town from Bucharest. I called them while en route to confirm late check-in and and they were very accommodating.
The staff are wonderful, friendly, courteous and gracious. The room was very comfortable, very clean and user-friendly. I had a delicious breakfast every morning, internet access, laundry services, and a warm smile everyday. The manager, Stefan Gogota, came to greet me on the first day and to make sure everything was perfect. And it was!
If you are in Constanta, Hotel Cherica is the best choice for a carefree vacation or business trip. It is intimate, homey and elegant. I was born and raised in Constanta, and I can say beyond any doubt that I felt at home.
